There is no warranty for damage due to excessive camshaft end play - NO EXCEPTIONS.

The Continental engine used in Ferguson TE20, TO20, TO30, and TO35 tractors uses a copper clad thrust plate to control camshaft end play. The copper backing on the thrust plate wears quickly causing excessive camshaft end play. When replacing the distributor you must disassemble the front of the engine and replace the thrust plate. Failure to replace the thrust plate will immediately cause your new distributor to fail.
